Studio E: The Epilepsy Art Therapy Program
The Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago is excited to bring people living with epilepsy the opportunity to express themselves through art as part of a multi-week art therapy program. They will work with art therapists, a writing instructor, and other people with epilepsy in a group setting to create artistic pieces using a variety of mediums, strengthen their artistic voice and learn from others. Materials and guidance for art and writing will be provided in a relaxed environment where creative expression and conversation are welcomed. No prior experience with art or writing needed.
Their artwork may also help raise awareness about the realities of life with epilepsy. To view art work created at previous sessions, please visit our Studio E: The Epilepsy Art Therapy Program Gallery.
