The Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago's Staff have been dedicated to helping people with epilepsy since 1946.
Meet the team
Epilepsy is a medical condition that produces seizures affecting a variety of mental and physical functions. It’s also called a seizure disorder. When a person has two or more unprovoked seizures, they are considered to have epilepsy.
We need you to get involved with the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago. Whether it’s joining a Community Action Board, volunteering, or being a member of the Peer Alliance, your involvement helps us lead the fight to stop seizures, find a cure, and overcome the challenges created by epilepsy. Get involved today and make a difference!
The Education Team uses classroom lectures and events to teach groups, schools and communities about epilepsy and seizure response. Check out your options for education or the materials available for you to order by clicking on the banners.
