Epilepsy Clinic Service
Access to proper medical care can be hard to come by for many living in the 43 county area the Epilepsy Foundation serves, especially those who live outside of Chicago. The Community Outreach Program is designed to ensure that all people with epilepsy have access to quality and timely medical care and case management services no matter where they live, or their ability to pay.
Through the Community Outreach Program, Comprehensive Epilepsy Clinics operate throughout the city and surrounding suburbs. Partnerships between the Foundation and local medical specialists and community hospitals provide medical care and social services otherwise not available to the uninsured or under-insured. These clinics serve as a vital resource for those living with epilepsy who are unable, for a variety of reasons, to make their way to the prominent epilepsy centers of the Chicagoland area. The Comprehensive Epilepsy Clinics are positioned to make proper neurological care available to as many people as possible.
