Casey Nunes has been with the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago since 2014 as a Case Manager. Casey is a graduate of Roosevelt University with a B.A. in Journalism and Psychology. She has been involved with the epilepsy community for over 10 years and in case management for over 4 years. Casey is an AmeriCorps alumnus at Association House of Chicago and was previously a Job Developer for the SCSEP program at Easter Seals. Trained in workforce development from the Chicago Jobs Council, Casey’s special programs include a job readiness program for people with epilepsy, providing training in applications, resumes, worker’s rights and interviewing. She is also involved in coordinating Camp Blackhawk.

Casey is a licensed Domestic Violence counselor from CAWC and has been trained in Mental Health First Aid through the Community Counseling Centers of Chicago.


The Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago leads the fight to stop seizures, find a cure and overcome the challenges created by epilepsy.
