Twana Brunson

Twana Spencer Brunson is greatly passionate about serving and advocating for people with disabilities.  Previously, she worked with children and adults with disabilities at Precision ABA.  Most of her clients were people living with Autism, whom she taught using a method known as Precision Teaching under the umbrella of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Twana studied ABA at The Chicago School for Professional Psychology, where she received a certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis. Twana has a Masters of Art in Elementary Education from Chicago State University and taught in the public-school sector for a number of years. In 1998, Twana received a Bachelor’s of Art in Psychology from Chicago State University and began working in case management. Twana has served many people with medical complexities and individuals with disabilities, through education, case management, and behavioral therapy.  She is an avid reader, writes stories, and practices health and wellness.  Although, she is no longer teaching in a tradition classroom setting, Twana continues to tutor, teach after-school programs, and educate students and adults in her spare time.  Her ultimate goal in life is to educate the population on living a better life one person at a time.
