Support Groups

Due to the recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago has made the decision to cancel in-person upcoming support groups through June until further notice. * NOTE: This does not include our Blue Jeans Virtual Support Group. * This decision was made in order to help mitigate the community spread of COVID-19 by removing opportunities for our clients and families to gather in large groups. Your health and safety is our number one priority, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this time. Please reach out to Stacy McCargo at amccargo@epilepsychicago.org if you have any questions or concerns.

Whether you’re a parent of a child with newly-diagnosed epilepsy and in search of guidance from those who have been there, an adult with epilepsy who is looking for advice and encouragement from others, or just someone looking for camaraderie from others who understand the challenges of living with epilepsy, we have a support group that’s just right for you. We even have groups specially designed for caregivers and loved ones! Most groups meet monthly, but schedules and locations can change, so please call 312-939-8622 before attending any group for the first time to confirm meeting details.

PROGRAMS
