Camp Blackhawk: Session OneW

The first session of Camp Blackhawk, a free week-long retreat for kids and teens with epilepsy, will take place July 7-12, 2019. At Camp Red Leaf’s safe and medically monitored environment, kids take part in fishing, rock climbing, swimming, zip lining, arts & crafts, and more! In this unique setting, campers are surrounded – many for the first time – by dozens of other kids who know exactly what having epilepsy means.

Studio E Drop-in Session

The Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago is excited to offer adults living with epilepsy the opportunity to attend monthly Studio E Drop-in Sessions from 12:00-3:00 pm at our downtown office (Suite 820) at 17 N. State St. in Chicago. Materials and guidance for art and writing will be provided in a relaxed environment where creative expression and conversation are welcomed. Expressive Writing workshops are incorporated in the monthly Drop-In Sessions. No prior experience with art or writing is needed.

Heroes Sports Camp

The Heroes Sports Camp is a free three day event from Monday, August 12 – Wednesday, August 14 from 9:00 am – 12:30 pm for kids 6-17 years old with epilepsy and their friends or siblings. There will be sports, games, arts & crafts, and snacks will be provided. Space is limited–spots will be available on a first come, first serve basis.
