First Look for Charity stands as one of Chicago’s greatest one-day fundraisers, regularly generating more than $2 million for 18 area nonprofits. Held at McCormick Place the evening before the Chicago Auto Show opens, the benevolent event is anticipated by socialites and car buffs alike. Guests are treated to champagne, wine, soft drinks, elegant hors d’oeurves, and desserts all while being the first to explore the annual edition of the show. Join us for our annual Empoderando a Nuestras Familias: Epilepsy Education Conference for Spanish-Speaking Families, an event dedicated to learning, education, and awareness within our Epilepsy community, created especially for our Hispanic families. This conference is open to the public and will provide valuable information, resources, and support to empower individuals and families affected by epilepsy. We’re calling on artists to bring an important story to life. 1 in 26 people will develop epilepsy in their lifetime. We are seeking original artwork inspired by the theme, The Power of Community: 1 in 26. The selected piece will be transformed into a community-created mural, painted with the help of individuals and families impacted by epilepsy.
